Welcome to Nintendo World! I'm your tour guide Gene!
The closest train station to Nintendo World is the Rockefeller Center station. You can get to it by using the B, D, F or V train Nintendo World is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
As we enter the first thing you'll see is a small display case, which
contains Game Boy Micro covers and DS covers. The next thing you'll see is
the DS Circle. It's where you can play all sorts of DS games. There are two
circles in the DS Circle. The outer circle plays the latest games, the inner
circle plays multiplayer games and you can also PictoChat. The DS Circle is
currently playing Nintendogs.
Next we have the Multiplayer Wall, there are four pairs of TVs so it looks
like 4 big DS screens. This is where you get to play DS games against up to
3 other players! The DSs have games like Super Mario 64 DS and Nintendogs.
If you look to the right you'll see the GBA Zone, it's a long strip of Game
Boy Advance SPs so you can play all kinds of different GBA Games!
Next we'll go to the Pokémon section, it's got Pokémon games like Pokémon XD
Gale of Darkness, Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire and Fire
Red/Leaf Green all available to play! It also has Pokémon action
figures, TCG card booster packs, theme decks, and boxes! It's even got a Pokémon TCG tornament
area! They also have a Pokémon movie playing at all times in the Pokémon
section of Nintendo World!
Time to go up stairs! There is also an elevator for your convenience.
The first thing you see is a display case, it's got all different kinds of
Nintendo items on display. Such as the SP section, it has all kinds of SP
designs like the Pikachu SP or Kyogre, Groudon, Charizard, Venusaur, Village
Hidden in the Leaves logo they even have a gold SP with a triforce on it, and it was
autographed by Shigeru Miamoto!
To the right we'll see 12 TVs each with a Game Cube and four Controllers.
They each have a list of GC games that you can choose from. Behind the Game
Stations is a wall of Game Cube games!
To the left there are three pod-like chairs called Surround Sound Pods.
These surround sound pods have built in speakers and they rumble! These have
different games, but they all have Donkey Konga & Donkey Konga 2!
On the other side of the room you'll see the Nintendo world shop! It had all
kinds of different T-shirts, sweat shirts, pants, Perfect Guide books,
adapters, styli, Nintendo accessories and nic-nacs, and Pokémon rain coats.
On our way out there is one more thing that you need to see! Look at the
door handles! They are shaped like a poké ball!
